Hope you all are having a fun and healthy new year. So, today i am not doing any product review. Ah...feels like after ages. I was so missing writing some different topics. So, i finally decided to focus on writing more to provide every types of content to you guys and i am planning to do a DIY every week as well. So, if haven't subscribe to my blog. Please do so that you don't miss anything.
So,.let's start. As you would have guessed from topic. Today's topic is benefits and uses of yogurt.
So, in this post i will share with you different uses and benefits of yogurt.How they are beneficial for health, hair and skin.

So, first a little bit about yogurt.
What is Yogurt -
Yogurt is a traditional dish in every home .It is made from milk. yogurt is made by fermentation of milk by a bacterial culture which has lactic acid properties .the fermentation of the sugar in the milk called lactose .lactic acid works on milk protein which provide sour taste which is familiar in our yogurt.It is loaded with vitamin ,calcium and minerals . It provides much needed minerals ,vitamins and proteins source to vegetarian who can't consume non veg for their protein intake .
Yogurt for health -
Yogurt is a good source to improve your digestion. If you want to improve your digestion and get rid of toxins from your body add yogurt in your daily meal.
It helps in improving weight loss consistency in your body cause it improves your metabolism and digestion. it is a natural way to weight loss .it is not way to quick .it helps your body to digest your food properly which is the main reason of weight gaining.
Yogurt helps in making your body stronger ,it has natural boosting properties to help your body grow.
Yogurt is a good source of protein , calcium and mineral intake .it is main source of vitamins in vegetarian diet .
Yogurt is a good source of calcium hence is good for your teeth and bones
Yogurt helps in lower your cholesterol in your body
Skincare and Body care -
Yogurt is really good for improving your skin tone and softness .It has Anti ageing properties which hells fine lines and wrinkles as well . I am going to share with you a easy yogurt face mask to improve your skin.
Yogurt face mask - Take 4 tsp yogurt and one 1 tsp olive oil, mix it well . Apply this mixture on face and leave it for 30 minutes . Do it thrice a week .It will improve your skin lines.
Yogurt body mask /body wash - Take 4 tsp gram flour (besan ) , 2 tsp yogurt (dahi ) and 1/2 of turmeric powder (haldi ) ,mix all the ingredients well .Use this as a body mask or body wash twice a week. It is really good in soften the skin and improve the skin tone.
haircare -
Yogurt is a magical ingredients for hair . It improves softness, hair shine and helps in removing dandruff as well.
Hair pack - You can mix yogurt in any hair pack of your choice .It will soften your hair and make them silky smooth.
Dandruff - Take 4 - 6 tbsp yogurt and mix half a lemon juice in it . Apply it on scalp and massage it on your scalp gently . Apply it on all your hair . After 10 minutes wash your hair . You can always make more or less according to your hair length.

DeleteYoghurt is also proven to be helpful when someone has erm lady problems like yeast infections etc because it balances out the bacteria down there! It's apparently much better to use than tea tree and tablets and what not! Haha what a random fact from me, but it's honestly so helpful! x

DeleteI never thought of using yogurt in this way, what a great post. How long do you have to do the regimen before you see results in hair with dandruff. I have dry scalp and my hair is very dark so it's quite noticeable.
