Ecotique Saffron Oil Review

Hope you all are doing well. Today i am going to introduce you all to a new brand named " Ecotique ". If you are following me on Instagram you must have seen my post from Ecotique haul. Today i am going to review one of the products from it  "Saffron Oil ".

Before we get into the review and my experience about it. A little bit about brand " Ecotique "

REVIEW

PACKAGING

It comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a black cap. It has a label on it with all the details like name, ingredients and other details on it. I feel the packaging could have been a little better. It always make a mess when taking some product out. Definitely needed the improvement on packaging it doesn't feel hygienic as well.

COLOUR, CONSISTENCY AND FRAGRANCE

It has a slight yellow colour in it which i presume it got from saffron  ( kesar ). It has saffron strands in it as well ,  which is quite visible in it. The consistency is just like other oil but a lot lighter in feel. It has a fragrance of saffron and jojoba in it. It is a very sweet fragrance, it will not irritate you even if you have sensitive nose.

HOW TO USE

Apply Small quantity of the oil on moist skin and massage gently. 

EXPERIENCE

Saffron is a really great ingredient in skincare. It has anti-ageing and anti oxidant properties in it which helps in skin lightening as well. We here in India use ( Saffron ) this in various ways as well. We use this with milk, different types of mask and other things to enhance the beauty. So, it was really exciting thing to me using it in a oil form.

It has a mixture of different oils which makes it more interesting  It can use it in different ways for both body and face . Stick around to find how i use it differently for Face and Body .

I mainly use it on my Night Care Regime and it can be a great addition into it . As Summer approaching it will help in tone down the Sun Tan on Face and Body .

I really love using it as my body oil . My Body Skin is very dry  like Sahara desert . No matter how much i put lotion it all soaked in . And i don't like putting oil on my body  basically cause i don't like greasy hands  nevertheless i did try this as a body oil and it nourished my skin from inside . It gives my skin a nice shiny and radiant glow with clear complexion. 

Sometimes i mix it with my lotion to provide moisture without making my hands greasy . It nourished my skin from inside and give it a nice shine .

I really liked it as a body oil as it nourished my dry body skin .

If you are thinking it just as a Body Oil then this might surprise you 😃 You can you this oil as a face oil as well if you dry or Combination skin . It will nourish your face from inside and give it a clear and radiant glow .

I have Oily skin but in weather and spring weather it become combination type so i have tried it on my face as well
I wash my face and mix a drop or two of saffron oil in my night cream and massage it on my skin . It doesn't make my skin Oily or look greasy this way . I have tried this as a Night Serum as well
Applying it after my face wash and leave it overnight . It does make my skin look oily but it doesn't cause any breakouts ( Touchwood ) . I definitely feel a natural and dew glow in the morning and less of dark circles . 

Final Verdict - If you have dry body or Face skin . This is all you want to give it much needed nourishment with natural and dewy glow .
